Requirements
- at least three years of experience as a tester
- excellent knowledge in testing processes and related methodologies
- demonstrated, hands-on approach to test automation design and implementation (ideally augmented by coding skills)
- understanding of performance/capacity aspects of IT systems
- practical knowledge of network protocols
- practical experience with the Unix-type OS (Linux, Solaris) on advanced user level
- knowledge in relational DBMS and practical experience with SQL
- hands-on knowledge of programming & scripting languages (Javascript/node.js, Perl, Python, bash)
- intermediate or higher working knowledge of tools such as:
- protocol simulators (at least one of the following): OpenCloud Simulator, SIPp, Seagull
- bugs/tasks tracking tools
- network capture and analysis: Wireshark, tcpdump, snoop
- experience in cross-team work among in an international environment
- good knowledge of English
Nice to have
- Master of Science or a similar level of technical education
- ISTQB or equivalent certification
- strong background in Telecommunication and Billing Systems
- practical knowledge of mobile (GSM/3G/LTE) or fixed telecommunication network architecture
- knowledge of Web-based technologies (Web servers, XML, HTTP, Web Services)
- knowledge test automation tools: Robot Framework, JMeter, SoapUI, Selenium; phone emulators
Responsibilities
- test preparations – requirements-based planning, test design, test documentation
- creation of acceptance test plans
